Based in Southsea, Hampshire, I mainly cover weddings, portraits and events around the surrounding areas of Hampshire : Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, Winchester,Petersfield, Alton. I believe I am very lucky for my work to be something that I love and allows me to be part of what is often one of the most important occasions in a persons life. I therefore, make it my main priority in all assignments to ensure that my clients feel that I have spent time getting to know them and what they are looking for in their photography. Having your photograph taken is a truly personal thing and our reactions to the camera will vary widely. I not only want my clients to say they love their photographs but to say they enjoyed the exeprience of having them taken. To me the two go hand in hand.

I am very lucky to be married to Julian who is a qualified and very experienced photographer and who works with me on all our weddings assignments. As a husband and wife team we believe that a wedding day creates the most ideal opportunity for beautiful photographs to be created: a bride holding her veil as she looks in the mirror on the morning of her wedding day; a father’s gaze in anticipation of the speech he was destined to make from the day she was born; a groom and his most trusted friend sharing a calming moment outside a church; a clasping of hands before rings are exchanged; a clink of champagne glasses as married lips meet.

It is these moments, which can be too easily lost in the whirlwind of emotions on the day, but can also be ruined by unwanted intrusions. It is our job as wedding photographers to seize the captivating moments as they arise without too much interference so that the bride and groom can enjoy their day in a relaxed atmosphere. Working discreetly, shooting constantly throughout the day, our subtle approach combined with artistic style, create a beautiful collection of photographs for you to share with friends and enjoy for the rest of your lives.

We pride on ourselves on moving away from the traditional approaches to wedding photography. We will always have a pre wedding consultation with our clients at their venue before the wedding day and make sure we get the names and links of the people who they most want to be captured sharing their wedding day with. We work hard to produce story-telling photographs that reflect the individuality of each unique wedding day.
